Reza Baha comes from a family of talented artists in both painting and music. At the age of ten it became clear that the propensity of art had been passed on to Reza. After high school he continued his education at the Tehran Institute for Art and Design where he graduated in Material Design and Fine Art. At that time he began work as a material designer for a textile company. Two yeas later he chose to work as a freelance artist at a gallery in Tehran where he acquired exceptional and insightful skills in the field of painting. During this time, Reza also worked in the film industry as a poster and background painter.
In 1980 Reza traveled to Europe to expand his musical talent as well and graduated as a performer and teacher. He continued to freelance with various galleries and often visited the museums to help capture the spirit of different, famous artists. This gave Reza the ability to work in many different styles, letting him express and explore his personal feelings and ideas.
Reza believes that being an artist is a life force. It is not a career you choose, but a natural gift. It is a passion. Often he presents his art with a message. He feels without this expression he would be nothing and cannot imagine life without art. He has found fulfillment in everyday experiences, in which he indulges himself in learning to better express his visions and emotions.
