Artist Nick Bitar has two passions: art and animals. His fascination with the capture of expression began in his youth which was spent in various Middle Eastern countries. Nick became familiar with an array of cultures, which led to an intensity in his art. Since first moving to California, Nick Bitar has studied at Pasadena Art Center and is accomplished in all subject matter. He is very close to all of his paintings. Nick says that art just developed as a part of him. He has always experienced success with his art. The first time he completed a portrait in a private art school, he was offered an exceptional price for it, considering it was his first piece and he was an unknown artist.

Many people through the years have wanted to purchase his work and he says that this has thrilled him incredibly. Bitar now has an extensive private collection, some of which he has exhibited in art shows nationwide. Nick’s work has earned him many awards including the prestiges of "Excellence" and "Honorable Mention." Nick Bitar just recently sold his dental office he had run partly and successfully for over thirty years. His discipline in dentistry has only further enhanced the precision of his painting. Nick draws his inspiration from traditional painters and always tries to evoke a subtle spark in his artwork.
