A resident of Hawaii since 1982, Steven's artistic talents have evolved into a distinctive style which includes his fascinationof figures in motion. Influenced by the developed forms of body builders and hula dancers, these figures are strong, confident and are expressivedepictions of shapes in space and composition. Stevens use of vibrant color and his eye for the surreal are reminiscent of the Great Salvador Dali.
