Sue Krutel grew up on Harvard Lake, near Greenville, Michigan.
Surrounded by unspoiled nature, she developed a deep, very deep
appreciation for the natural beauty around her.
The inspiration she finds in nature helps her create images that
she feels embody the pristine American landscape.
Sue is a self-taught artist who always dabbled with crayons and
paint sets as a child. Her dream was to own a 64 count box of crayons,
the one with the sharpener built into the box.
After seeing her paintings, friends and family encouraged Sue
to explore painting as a career. She joined the Rogue River Art
Gallery, and later the Rivertown Artist Guild. Soon see started
selling paintings and has been commissioned for three more. She
takes part in numerous exhibitions through the Rivertown Artist
Guild. |
