Marjorie Evans

Marjorie L. Evans is a native of Lynchburg Virginia, which is where she began her art career. She sold her first painting at the age of 17, while taking art classes in High School. Before she married a United States Navy sailor, she thought of art only as a hobby. It wasn't until she had her daughter when she took it seriously. For her, creating and selling her art is a way to share herself with others. It was after receiving her A.A. in Fine Arts that she realy started pursuing her career. The positive response to her work has lead to participating in many art shows. She currently lives in Norfolk, Virginia with her husband and daughter, and works on her paintings full time.
